A quick and easy high-protein snack dip that combines creamy cottage cheese with the nostalgic flavor of cookie dough, perfect for healthy snacking or pre-workout fuel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (225g) small-curd low-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (unsweetened or almond butter as alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (semisweet or dark)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (or oat/almond flour for gluten-free)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Place 1 cup (225g) of small-curd cottage cheese in a food processor or blender. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy with no visible lumps.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the blended cottage cheese. Blend again for 30 seconds until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt. Pulse for about 10 seconds to incorporate without over-blending.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and gently fold in 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips using a spatula.
  5. If desired, fold in 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and/or 2 tablespoons chopped nuts gently.
  6. Refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes to thicken and allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled with apple slices, graham crackers, celery sticks, or other preferred dippers.

Notes

Blend cottage cheese until ultra-smooth for best texture. Pulse flour briefly to avoid gummy texture. Chill dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. Stir in a teaspoon of milk if dip is too thick after chilling. Use natural sweeteners like maple syrup or honey for better flavor. Add chocolate chips just before serving if preparing ahead to keep them crunchy.
