A refreshing iced coffee topped with a creamy, airy strawberry-flavored cold foam that combines the boldness of espresso with the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) cold whole milk or milk alternative (oat or almond milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • Ice cubes, enough to fill your glass

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup (240 ml) of espresso or strong coffee using your preferred method. Pour it into a tall glass filled halfway with ice cubes to chill. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine chopped fresh strawberries, 1/2 cup cold whole milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or honey. Blend on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and frothy, aiming for a light, airy foam with visible strawberry flecks. If foam is too thin, blend longer or add a tablespoon more milk. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Gently spoon or pour the creamy strawberry cold foam over the iced coffee. It should float on top, creating a layered effect. Optionally garnish with a fresh strawberry slice or finely chopped mint leaves.

Notes

Use ripe, sweet strawberries for best flavor. Whole milk creates the creamiest foam; oat milk is the best plant-based alternative. Chill milk and blender cup beforehand for extra creamy foam. Avoid over-blending to prevent runny foam. Serve immediately for best texture. Leftover foam can be stored in the fridge up to 24 hours but will lose some airiness.
