A quick and easy electrolyte drink featuring pink Himalayan salt, fresh citrus juices, and natural sweetener for optimal hydration and a refreshing taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold filtered water
  • Optional: small handful fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes as needed for serving

Instructions

  1. Juice the citrus: extract 1/4 cup lime juice and 1/4 cup lemon juice. Strain if a pulp-free drink is preferred.
  2. In a pitcher, add 1 tablespoon of raw honey or agave syrup. Pour in the citrus juices and stir well until the sweetener dissolves (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt into the mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Add 4 cups (960 ml) of chilled filtered water and stir gently to combine.
  5. Optional: tear a few fresh mint leaves and add to the pitcher. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to infuse flavor.
  6. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with a lime wedge or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Measure pink salt carefully to avoid an overly salty taste. Use fresh citrus juice for best flavor. Sweetener can be adjusted or substituted with agave or maple syrup for vegan options. Chill before serving for optimal refreshment. Optional mint adds a cooling herbal note. The drink stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; stir before serving if flavors mellow.
